Software Engineer – Video & Computer Vision Solutions

As a software engineer, you will participate in designing and developing services for video processing and visualization, with deployment in cloud-edge environments. Computer vision is a key component of our roadmap, offering exciting opportunities for research and exploratory work to solve complex and challenging problems. A focus on scalability, testability, maintainability, and efficient orchestration of software installations is central to our work.
We’re looking for a result-oriented, pragmatic problem-solver and team player with a positive attitude. You are passionate about coding and at tackling difficult challenges, while also appreciating the importance of seeing the bigger picture and prioritizing tasks effectively.

The team is based in Lund and Sarajevo. You will report to the Software Development Manager based in Lund.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++
• Hands-on experience in computer vision
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning using Python
• Experience with automated testing
• Knowledge of designing or developing software systems using REST, MQTT, Kafka, or similar methods for service-to-service communication
• Comfort working in Linux (user space) and Windows environments
Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Image or video processing expertise
• Experience with cloud platforms, cloud architecture, and communication protocols
• Familiarity with C#, GoLang, or TypeScript
• Knowledge of Docker
• Background in data science
